Room at Duck Creek Gallery

Private downstairs room with separate entrance along a stone patio at Duck Creek Gallery. Forested Duck Creek Park is across the road a short walk away. Ganges town is an 8 minute drive away and Vesuvius Village is a 2 minute drive or 15 minute walk from the house. In Ganges you will find all amenities such as car rentals, kayaking, bike rentals, various local artisan shops, Tuesday Farmer's market and The Saturday Market. Vesuvius beach ( sunset beach) is a 15 minute walk away. A bright, private room accessed through an ivy gate onto a stone patio. After a short stroll past the outside lounge area, you’ll find a door to the Gallery. In the room there is a cozy double futon with memory foam topper, small fridge, electric kettle, coffee bodum, plates, cups, cutlery, teapot, tea, coffee, cream and milk. A private bathroom with shower is also available. Enjoy a morning tea outside with a terraced view of the pond and forest accompanied by the occasional owl, raven, eagle and other feathered creatures. As it is a family dwelling with children and a dog, at times you will hear us moving about upstairs. Entrance is to the right of the front of the house through an ivy gate to stone patio with 'Gallery' sign above. Please let me know what your arrival time is and I will meet you there. Upstairs to left is a private residence. The pond on the property is a private area also. I am happy to greet you and show you to your room. 15 minute walk to warm sunset, swim beach at Vesuvius Bay, the Seaside restaurant and Vesuvius store. It’s a 2 minute walk to Duck Creek Park just across the road. 8 minute drive to Ganges Town. There is a local bus that leaves Vesuvius and goes into town a few times per day. (Website hidden by Airbnb) Walk to Vesuvius is approx. 15 minutes. Car and bike rentals are available in Ganges. Parking available in our driveway in front of house. We have 2 children, a friendly dog and a cat. You will likely hear us walking about upstairs from 8 am onward. After 9pm the house is usually quiet.
