The "Patty Shack" guesthouse is decorated in warm tones to help you relax while you take in the view of the Mississippi River and Black Hawk bridge in BEAUTIFUL Lansing, IA. The large common space has a queen bed and quality air mattress for a restful nights sleep. Coffee, tea and hot chocolate as well as breakfast bars are complimentary. Cable and wifi will connect you to the rest of the world but why? 😉Come by boat, bike or auto...I hope you'll enjoy your stay!! The Patty Shack is located 2 doors North of the entrance to the beautiful Blackhawk Bridge. It's half way in between downtown Lansing and Lansings Marina/Tiki bar. (A 3 block walk in either direction.) The full function kitchen has pretty much everything you need (no stove or dishwasher) to cook yourself or dine at one of Lansing’s great restaurants! Forget something? No worries, there is shampoo, conditioner, body wash, lotions and a hair dryer in the unit! Guests have full access to the Patty Shack but not lower level garage unless weather emergency. Parking is directly in front of the unit. I believe your time is your time but if you need anything, I'm as close as next door or the phone! I will be in touch prior to your arrival with address, door code and other specifics. Lansing is a beautiful little (900 people) river town in extreme NE Iowa. Wisconsin is 2 minutes to the East (across the breathtaking bridge right outside your door) and Minnesota is a beautiful drive 15 minutes North. The Patty Shack is 3 blocks from downtown Lansing businesses and restaurants and 3 blocks from the popular TIKI bar at the city marina. Be sure to drive up to the top of Mt. Hosmer for spectacular views and you’ll not want to miss the shopping experience Horsfalls Lansing Variety stores and other great stores have to offer! While in Lansing, you can pretty much walk to everything! If you come by boat, there are over night slips at the marina 3 blocks away. Please note that the Patty Shack is upstairs above my private garage therefore it has the same address as my private home next door (on the corner). The Patty Shack has a picket fence porch railing ( not shown in the picture of the outside of building) and has a nice covered front porch! PETS: I am sorry, I no longer allow pets.
