The Boat House is uniquely built over the ocean. Watch the tides rise and fall from your doorstep- bachelor style apartment is a cozy space featuring all necessary amenities. Kitchen is equipped with toaster oven and induction hot plate- pots pans, and other cooking utensils are provided. At low tide walk out your door to the ocean floor and observe crabs, starfish, and maybe jelly fish! Keep your eye out across the bay for the many passing seals that enjoy hanging out on nearby rocks or fish for mackerel off of the wharf! 25 minutes to Halifax, 20 minutes to Peggy's Cove. Convenient location for day trips to the beach or trips down the south shore. 5 minutes to local shops including grocery stores, liquor store, drug stores, etc. Private guesthouse on our ocean waterfront. Enjoy watching the boat traffic while sipping your morning coffee! Guests will need a vehicle for transportation.. a boat would work! There are shared kayaks (shared with owners) available for use, and a boat launch (ramp) that is available for launching your own boat (BYOBoat), best used at high tide. There is a fireplace on a deck by the water that is available for use as well, wood is supplied. Winter months- we suggest you bring warm socks or slippers! Being over the water the floor can get quite chilly!
