*Currently accepting vaccinated guests only (not required if under 12 years old)* Sitting across from a beautiful park at the confluence of the Yukon and Klondike Rivers in a historic gold-rush town, the Dawson City Guesthouse is an ideal spot from which to access both cultural landmarks and rich wilderness. We've strived to create a comfortable living space for our guests that tastefully blends simple and modern design with vintage decor, and look forward to sharing it with you! The B & B is situated in a serene setting, with plenty of well-kept outdoor garden/lawn space, a fire pit with ample and comfortable seating, and a spacious 2nd storey balcony that provides glorious sunset views of historic Tröchek, an ancient First Nations meeting place situated at the confluence of the Yukon and Klondike Rivers. ***As we are striving to limit face-to-face interactions with our guests, due to COVID-19, we will not be providing breakfast to our guests until further notice*** Tea and coffee will be provided in the room, and we'd be happy to provide you with a list of great food options just a short walk away. Juniper Suite consists of a well-appointed room with a Queen and Double bed, flatscreen TV, private ensuite bathroom with bathtub, and an attached private living room with a second flatscreen TV. Guests are encouraged to relax on the 2nd storey deck while enjoying one of the finest unobstructed river views in Dawson. Guests are also welcome to explore Dawson in the best way possible - by using our complimentary bicycles! Your hosts have lived in the Dawson area for many years, and we're happy to show off the town we love and its surrounding area. Dawson City is a living, breathing museum, and its historic downtown core can be reached in a 5-10 minute walk. In just as little time, guests can also be comfortably exploring numerous excellent hiking trails nearby, or fishing in the Klondike River, which is located a few hundred feet from the property. We are also happy to put you in touch with our friends at The Klondike Experience, who will be happy to take you on a trip farther afield. Let us know if you need a free pick-up from the airport. Otherwise, Dawson is very walkable for most people. Rest assured that we take the realities of COVID-19 very seriously, and are committed to socially distancing whenever possible on our property. Unfortunately, this means that we will be limiting our typical face-to face chats with guests upon their arrival, as well as during their stay. We'll certainly miss these interactions with our guests, and do hope that you understand that this change is simply a product of the many challenges posed by COVID-19. We will continue striving to provide a high level of cleanliness in our rooms, with an added emphasis on sanitization of high-use surfaces between guest visits. As you will be staying in our family home (albeit in a separate part of the home), we appreciate your reciprocal adherence to social distancing between us and other guests. If you or anyone in your party are experiencing COVID-19 symptoms immediately prior to your reservation, please let us know, as we will be unable to host you. We will be happy to help arrange a stay in one of Dawson's many accommodations that are more suited to quarantining than our family home. Thanks for your understanding!
