BEFORE BOOKING note that we are NOT a quarantine option and guests must first do a two-week government-required quarantine at approved hotels. Once you have quarantined we welcome you to your private three-bedroom villa kitted out for an amazing holiday or work experience. Your hosts live on the property in a separate villa and are only a message away from helping you with any questions you may have to make your stay the best it can be. Not only do you have access to knowledgeable island transplants you can also enjoy your time with the resident island dogs Pan Pan and Lapsi if you so choose. They quickly befriend visitors, love cuddles, and make sure the property is well guarded in a quiet manner. When you stay at Hope you inadvertently support green initiatives of propagation and planting of trees, community composting, and pesticide-free farming techniques. We offer fresh herbs, coconut and coconut water, tropical fruits when in season, and microgreens from our Herbal Organic Permaculture Environment for sale. Much of the work we do is from home so we will be near if we are needed for any help or suggestions and scarce if you prefer to do your own thing! We both love St. Kitts and Nevis, have been living here for 14 plus years. Upon request, we will give you the information you need to enjoy your stay to the fullest. We love living in our neighborhood because we are a tight-knit community, have a neighborhood watch system and look out for each other. We enjoy the location of Hope Garden due to the trade winds we get almost year-round off the Atlantic Sea. We have planted many trees in our yard to create a feeling of being surrounded by nature but logistically located to allow beautiful views of the sea and sunbathing areas as well as a cooling effect in the outdoor lounge areas. You can see and hear the waves crashing on the shore from the ocean from so many different places on the grounds, even when working in the kitchen or dipping in the pool. We recommend renting a car or scooter to get around and provide easy secure parking within the premises. We have had some guests who enjoyed walking to Frigate Bay (25min walk), walking to the bus stop (20min walk) to go to Basseterre, walking to the beach (10 min) and then taking taxis here and there so it will really depend on the guest. Ferries to Nevis are very regular from Basseterre or the South East Peninsula with many new high-speed choices available. We can furnish you with a list should you be interested in visiting Nevis while here. BEFORE booking a stay please take note that you will need to quarantine for 14 days in a government pre-approved hotel, test negative on day 14 and then you are allowed to enter the Island as normal.
