Casa de Shelley is a five-star, gold standard resort licensed by the Belize Tourism Board. At Casa de Shelley, Dr. Mike and Shelley will make sure that your family will have one of the finest resort stays you will ever experience. They are always on-site, and they are more than happy to help you with all your needs — from scuba diving to shopping. The large master bedroom has a king-sized bed with a 12-foot closet, dressers, and a TV. The master bathroom features an oversized tub/shower with safety bars, comfort height toilet, and his/her vanities. There is also a nice linen closet and lots of storage. The second bedroom features a queen bed, as well as a closet and dresser. Attached is a full bath with oversized tub/shower, comfort height toilet, and vanity. Additionally, this bath has good storage. The third bedroom has a bunk bed with a full-size bed on the bottom and a twin bed on top. The bed also features storage. Our luxury suite has a full-size laundry room with front load washer and dryer, sink, and lots of room. The living room features luxury leather couches and a video home theatre! The dining area is full size with a table, chairs, and seating for 6. The kitchen was designed by a professional chef and has every amenity. We have a gas cooktop, wall oven, side-by-side fridge with ice maker, garbage disposal, and even a dishwasher. The kitchen has a lot of counter space with enough room to feed a big family or host a party. The master bedroom, living room, and dining room sliding doors open onto a large 300 sq. ft. screened patio. Rest in the hammock, have morning coffee, and grill some steaks ! You can also walk outside and enjoy the breathtaking views from the rooftop deck or fish right off the dock! Casa de Shelley is owned by Dr. Mike Parrish and, his wife, Shelley Falk. They have four children and five grandchildren. Originally from Denver, Colorado, Shelley and Dr. Mike retired and moved to Belize in 2012. Dr. Mike has been a practicing Doctor of Chiropractic for more than 38 years, while Shelley retired after 34 years working with United Airlines. Dr. Mike still practices in Belize and has treated over 5,000 patients since 2013. Shelley is very active in the Corozal Rotary Club and many other charitable activities. Originally, Casa de Shelley was built as a 4,000 square ft. duplex and a poolside guest house. In 2020, Dr. Mike and Shelley took over the entire property and turned it into a vacation destination.
