Weather permitting, there is also a comfortable outdoor bed where you can sleep under the stars. If it is a little cool, light up the chiminea for some extra warmth. The tiki bar also has a TV if you want to stay in touch or get your sports fix (put away during the winter). There is also a Weber grill and dining table outside if you feel like a BBQ. The house has an open layout main living area and has cell phone service and wifi. There are 2 sliding glass doors to the 850sf deck bringing lots of light into the house. Accommodations include 2 bedrooms. One bedroom has a queen sized bed with an attached bath. The second bedroom has a full sized bed. The bathroom is not attached but is located right next to the bedroom. There is also a comfortable couch in the living room for an additional guest (maximum of 5 guests). The house is located right on the Rondout Creek on a dead-end road in quaint Rosendale, NY and offers plenty of privacy. It is 1.5 miles to Main Street with several restaurants, bars, shopping, a newly renovated theater and more. There is an express bus from NYC that takes about a 1.5-2 hours. We can pick you up if you'd like. A big attraction in town is the newly renovated train trestle over the Rondout Creek. It gives easy access to over 60 miles of hiking, biking, cross-country skiing and running between Kingston and Gardiner. You can rent a bike in town (right next to the bus stop) and explore this part of the Wallkill Valley Rail Trail. There are many great attractions close by including New Paltz, Stone Ridge, Mohonk, Kingston waterfront, Minnewaska, Awosting, Woodstock, Bellayre Mtn., Hunter Mtn. and Windham Mtn. No smoking inside. Please note there is a large drop off from the deck so the house is not appropriate for small children. Thanks for looking!
