Take your coffee on a morning walk through the orchard and in the evening, sip local wines around a blazing fire, all with a view of the highest tides in the world. There is an option to upgrade this listing to accommodate 14 guests with the addition of the 2 bdrm, 1100 sq ft Cellar Suite, for a fee. This suite will remain unoccupied should you not require it. The accommodations are a combination of the individual listings on the property + the 100% private access to the gourmet kitchen, fireplace, baby grand piano -- perfect for a group or family getaway, complete with 24 hour access to the private heated pool, wood-burning sauna cabin, and hot tub. A wonderful setting for team-building, retreats, intimate weddings, and any celebration. To thoroughly enjoy the space and amenities, we HIGHLY RECOMMEND a minimum 2 night stay. This will allow you to fully unwind and enjoy the outdoor amenities during the peak sunshine of the afternoon. Guests have private access to the heated in-ground pool (generally open from May-October, weather depending), 8-person hot-tub, wood-burning cedar sauna cabin, large stone fire-pits surrounded by adirondack chairs, hammocks, gardens, main floor amenities, including kitchen, pianos, and laundry facilities. We, the owners have a private, self-contained apartment on the property in another building on the estate. We do not access, nor do we share, any of the amenities or rooms that are included in this listing. The kitchen, common areas, pool, sauna, hot tub... etc. are purely for the private use of the guests in this booking. We live and work on the property and are happy to advise on the surrounding attractions - wineries, golf courses, historic homes/tours. We are easy-going and enjoy meeting new people and socializing but will also respect your privacy. We also have maintenance staff to assist with cleaning the pool, renewing the propane tanks, stacking wood for the sauna and firepit, and other tasks. Five minute drive to Avon Valley Golf Course, 5-20 minutes from 20+ wineries, and Martock Ski Hill. A 15 minute walk to restaurants, bars, and local brewery. We have a sizable parking lot on the property that can accommodate several vehicles, including transport trucks and moving trailers. There is a bus depot less than a 10 minute walk that takes people to Halifax for a fee of $18. On the property, Lisa operates a fashion design and manufacturing studio that supplies her five stores across Canada. Guests are welcome to tour the building and shop in the showroom, if interested, during business hours or private shopping party.
