Quiet very private one bedroom fully refurbished cut stone cottage. Located less than a mile from Upton (Sandals) Golf Course. Ideal for Golfers, Writers, Painters and Weekend Travelers. The charming, chic, fully renovated cut stone cottage is set in a lush tropical garden, full of hummingbirds, crickets, lizards and butterflies. Sounds of nature might include donkeys, roosters, neighborhood dogs and of course our night time concert of tropical crickets and tree frogs. There is one A/C as well as ceiling fans and screens to keep the place cool. Showering under the open sky will be an exhilarating experience.... The pool is for yourself and private, but it is located through a small wooden gate and fence on the main property - hidden far enough away in a dense garden, exactly between your cottage and the main house. A smaller 'massage pool' is located on top of the main pool (with a waterfall). Please note that it is NOT a hot tub - meaning it is NOT heated. It comes with the 'bubbling' massage jets (which you can turn on separately) and its super comfy - but it might get a little cool in the winter months). Private entrance and parking on property. Access and the use of the cottage, pool and the garden is for registered guests only. Happy to assist with recommendations for transport, restaurants, excursions, parties etc. Upton is an upscale residential community in the cool hills of Ocho Rios on the north coast of Jamaica. The area is ideal for hill running, hiking, golfing, and mountain biking. With the beautiful white river valley only a mile away, there are plenty of river adventures and swimming available. There are several private white sandy Caribbean beaches less than 15 minutes away. These can be used for a small fee and I am very happy to make further recommendations. Best to have your own transportation, but very happy to make recommendations for taxi / drivers / rental cars. The cottage is located on a 3.5 acre private property with beautifully manicured lush tropical gardens and lawns. The cottage with its own garden is fenced off from the main house and pool, however if you love dogs you are welcome to use the pool and explore the surroundings. Please no loud music by the pool or in the cottage.
