Centrally located Surf City beach block home. Dining, entertainment, shopping, and the beach all in walking distance. Park the car and enjoy everything the house and location have to offer. Cozy neighborhood with many year round residents. Great for kids and families. Built by our grandfather in 1946, the house has been a defining part of at least 4 generations. From spending the summer as kids, to summer jobs during college, to sharing it with our latest generation, the house has left a memorable mark through our family history. As you walk through, we've left a handful of touches that link the past to the present. From the pacific blue marlin in the living room, to a photo of the original patriarch hidden for you to find, to sand castle contest trophies, there is a hint of our experiences through the home, meant to inspire and promote your experience. Enjoy the central location and a cozy home. The air units in each bedroom and one in the main space can fight back the most hot and humid of NJ summer days. With a location so close to the beach, it is easy enough to run back for a respite or a snack. Guests should bring their own linens (towels and sheets). You have full access to the property with the exception of two owner closets on the 2nd floor. The excellent location can not be stressed enough. This is a spot where you can park the car and not use it until you have to leave. The beach is 4 houses away. If you cross the island to the bay side, the bay beach is excellent for the little swimmers in the family. There is an assortment of beach toys available in the garage. Bay beach also includes a playground and a basketball court. Plenty of dining options are an easy walk away. From burgers, to seafood, a butcher shop, sushi, BBQ, bagels, pastries, cheese, and more are all a few blocks away. A quaint supermarket is 4 blocks away. A gas grill is available for use and Okies or Blue Claw Seafood can supply some tasty treats for a great night on the grill. Want to rent bikes? Right at the corner. Ready for some mini golf? A few blocks into town. Ice cream? The Big Dipper is known for huge serving sizes so work up an appetite. Should you have a rainy day, head into Beach Haven for some shopping or the arcade. Interested in nature, visit either end of the island. After all, no trip is complete until you climb to the top of the lighthouse. Our family has owned this house since 1939. Over the years, the number of year round residents have increased. This block is a great family spot and one to build lasting memories. Property can fit about 4 cars. 3 in driveway and one in front of house. There are no permits required for street parking. A number of shuttle busses run up and down the island so if you are looking for a night out and want to leave the keys behind, just walk to the Boulevard and flag down one of the shuttles. • 8 beach badges are available for guests. If you take them with you or lose them you will be charged $40 to replace them. • Gas grill available in garage - spare tank kept full • Patio available in backyard with table, chairs, and umbrella • Clothesline for hanging up those beach towels • Outdoor shower for the sand monsters in the group
