On the hillside above one of Tortola's best beaches, there are breathtaking views from the bedroom, lounge, and covered terrace and grilling deck. The recently remodelled Long Bay Beach Resort restaurant adds a chic dining experience just a couple of minutes walk away, alongside another local beachfront local favourite, Tropical Fusion. Villas of Tortola properties and staff have all received government-operated gold-seal training and certification. Fall asleep to the sound of the ocean whilst being cooled by the gentle breezes passing through the screened doors. Walk the white sand beach, swim in the beautiful crystal clear waters and sip cocktails at sunset. This property really has it all for the perfect Tortola vacation. The master suite comprises a sumptuous king size bed, ample closets and 32" TV with Dish Network. A beverage station is also integrated with a refrigerator, coffee maker and toaster, adding that touch of 5* luxury feel to your stay. Also a great bonus when having extra guests to stay, making it perfect for 4 people to share in comfort, as if staying in a 2 bedroom unit. The ensuite bathroom with walk in shower completes this luxurious suite. The open concept lounge consists of a full kitchen, including oven and dishwasher, the island comfortably seating 4. The sleeper sofa offers a queensize comfy bed for any additional guests. Here too there is a 50" flat screen TV with Dish Network and DVD player, at your disposal. WiFi is provided for your use and enjoyment. There is an additional shower room here too offering full bathroom facilities. The vistas from the terrace can be enjoyed all day and night, table and chairs for dining as well as lounging, whilst waiting for the grille to cook supper to perfection, all adds up to a 'home from home' experience. We have up-to date local knowledge so once you have booked we offer assistance with car rental, provisioning, boat trips, water taxis, restaurant reservations, excursions...anything you need! We will coordinate your arrival so that you know how to reach the villa and we will greet you to show you around the property. Ariba is located in Long Bay, West End where many of the rental villas have been built so we have a great selection of restaurants within 5 - 10 minutes drive of the villa. DINING: Tropical Fusion on the beach in Long Bay (opening Dec'18), Sebastians on the Beach (breakfast lunch and dinner), Tramonti (on the beach in Apple Bay), The Sugar Mill for fins dining in a beautiful historical setting, Tropical Fusion (on the waterfront in Carrot Bay with large selection of classic West Indian dishes), Bananakeet (top of Windy Hill for the best sunset views), Stoutt's Lookout (top of Windy Hill) for great views and very informal BBQ etc, Da Best Cup at Soper's Hole for awesome breakfasts. Bustling Cane Garden Bay with it's selection of restaurants, bars and live music, is just a 15 minute drive. GROCERIES & ATTRACTIONS: Big Bens convenience store is just over Zion Hill (less than 10 minutes drive) and we look forward to the re-opening of Soper's Hill marina (10 min drive) *NO OPENING DATE SCHEDULED AS YET* which will again offer a grocery store, dive shop, days charter boats and water toy rentals. Sage Mountain is a 120 minute drive and offers beautiful National Park trails at a slightly cooler temperature de to the elevation and shade of the rainforest-like terrain. BEACHES: Long Bay Beach is 1 mile long of white sand - perfect for walking off the cocktails and coconut shrimp or conch fritters! There are certain areas with a sandy bottom that are best for swimming and some areas that have more coral surface, we will point you in the right direction. Pelican Point is a large rock protruding from the water in the middle of Long Bay, great for snorkeling out to on calm days. Apple Bay (3 min drive to East) offers world class surfing when the conditions are right. Smugglers Cove (7 mins drive to the West) is a protected spot that usually offers calm waters - perfect for the less energetic among us and perfect for snorkeling the coral reefs where you can spot all kinds of sea-life - I have seen since Irma a selection of colorful small fish including angel fish etc, small octopus, turtles and puffer fish. Nigels Beach bar offers cold drinks ad a limited number of sun-loungers. (Many of our palm trees were destroyed by Irma sadly, we have a large beach umbrella for your use in areas with less shade, we also supply you with beach chairs and a cooler.) We recommend renting a 4WD vehicle for your stay. There is plenty to go and see and taxis add up quickly. Tortola is only 12 miles long by 3 miles at its widest but it is a mountainous island and the roads can be pretty rugged so 4WD gives you confidence to explore without fear. The BVIs are very safe so you can explore anywhere the road takes you. We can help to reserve your vehicle and make sure that its at your port of arrival..
