The 3-bedroom, 2.5-bathroom Shamrock Bluff House is completely off-grid. Powered by solar electricity and batteries with a generator back-up, you will be ultra comfortable while reducing your footprint on the earth. As part of Table Rock Jungle Lodge, you have access to all of the award-winning lodge's amenities. *NOTE: You must rent your own vehicle to enjoy the SBH due to its remote location. Caretaker and German Shepherds on site. For the most independent of travelers, we offer the Shamrock Bluff House, a 3 bedroom / 2.5 bath, solar powered, riverfront, two-story home overlooking the Macal River Valley near San Ignacio in Western Belize. Set apart from the main lodge at Table Rock, but directly adjoining it, enjoy the freedom of being on your own 15-acre mini-estate while still having access to all of Table Rock's amenities. Upstairs you'll find the open-plan kitchen, living room with stereo, TV and DVD player (no cable service), a half bath, and the master bedroom which has a king sized bed and en suite bathroom. All of the upstairs rooms open onto a breathtaking wrap-around verandah with views into the river valley below. The downstairs has a full bath and two additional bedrooms, each with a queen sized bed. Both of these bedrooms open onto a large screened patio. *PLEASE NOTE: You must rent your own vehicle to be able to enjoy the Shamrock Bluff House. Maximum occupancy 6 guests. Minimum length of stay is 3 nights. Caretaker and security dogs are on site. The Shamrock Bluff House sits on 15 acres along the Macal River. Guests additionally have access to all the on-site activities at Table Rock Jungle Lodge: --Free Welcome Cocktail --Limited WiFi --Self-Guided Canoeing --Tube Floating on Table Rock Property --Access to Tropical Fruit Farm --Manicured Hiking Trails --Use of Riverside Palapas --Lodge Area Hammocks and Palapas --Laundry Service (additional fee) --Concierge Service --Restaurant & Bar The house will be vacant for our guests, but there is a caretaker and his family who live on-site to check on and maintain the solar power system for the house, mind the dogs, and assist in case of emergency. There is also access to the front desk and concierge services of Table Rock Jungle Lodge. Located just 5 unpaved miles south of San Ignacio Town and 1 mile past the Mestizo village of Cristo Rey, the Shamrock Bluff House is part of Table Rock Jungle Lodge and is close to the Mayan sites of Caracol, Xunantunich, Cahal Pech, ATM Cave, and others. Visit the Mountain Pine Ridge to swim in waterfalls, check out the Belize Botanic Gardens, and all of the other great attractions of Western Belize. Rental Car with 4-wheel drive (we recommend Crystal Auto Rental) NOTE: Many roads in Belize are unpaved, so be sure you are comfortable driving under these conditions. Please note that due to our alternative energy usage, this Shamrock Bluff House does not have air conditioning. Additionally, there is no cable TV, but the home does come with a television and DVD player for watching movies.
