Experience old Florida in this 1 bedroom 1 bathroom 1950's bungalow located on a tropical spit along the Forgotten Coast. Unplugged sits nestled in between the Gulf of Mexico and Alligator Harbor with beach on one side and a bay-side boat ramp on the other. The house sleeps two in the master bedroom, two on a sleep sofa, and has a bunk room off the porch that can accommodate two children. Sip your coffee on the porch while enjoying the soothing sights and sounds of the Gulf. Walk through the front yard to a wide quiet beach great for surf fishing, sandcastles, and swimming. This bungalow is perfect for small families, fishermen, and seniors looking for an affordable beach front experience on Florida's Forgotten Coast. Bring something to read, a bathing suit, and your fishing pole because unplugged has no TV. 4G cellular service is provided by AT&T and Verizon. We provide playing cards, board games and a stereo. There is little traffic and no commercialization on the Point, so bring your food, bikes, running or walking shoes, boat, and park the car to enjoy the benefits of the clean air and sea sounds. Nearby attractions include: -Alligator Point Marina with Tiki Bar one mile down the road -Fishing across the street in Alligator Bay or on the gulf -Bald Point State Park, Apalachicola National Park, St Marks National Wildlife Refuge -Angelo's Seafood, Tropical Traders, Spring Creek, Posey's, and Mad Anthony's restaurants to name a few -Wakulla Springs, one of the largest freshwater springs in the world -Day trips to Apalachicola, the oyster capital of the US, and diners' and shoppers' paradise, as well as other quaint towns along the Forgotten Coast.
