Seaesta Guest House

Sweet little spot in a coastal village past l-town beach. Close to the road & the rest of the compound but still cozy overlooking pastures and the ocean. Instruments, art, very basic kitchen (no oven, no dishwasher). BBQ. Humble and weird. You can tell the space is an evolution from nothing. Raw stairs. Main lights dimmable, lamps provided for better ambiance. Compound is in a quiet community. Sound travels, you may hear: dogs, kids, neighbours, cows, and the ocean:) The guest house is very heat efficient so plan woodstove usage around that. The hot tub is 20 feet beyond the guest house deck, closer to the house. The hot tub is kept hot (104) and treated; it has a safety guard and is shared with compound people (not used hardly ever when there are guests tbh). Kitchenette has two burner stove top, microwave and toaster oven. Small fridge!! Electric kettle for hot water and a french press for coffee. There is a TV that you can cast to or sign into apps. Just an 8 minute drive to Lawrencetown Beach. Porter's Lake is 12 minutes away. Dartmouth 25-30 minutes. Guest house. Yard/ deck around guest house. Hot tub. Guests will have a parking spot near guest house. Guests can use the hot tub* (*shared - rarely, if ever, used when there are guests. see guide, no soaks after 10pm) Via Airbnb app Guests and compound people (3 adults and a doodle) stay separate and distanced because of covid and the vulnerable people we have in our lives. Lawrencetown beach is 8 minute drive. Martinique beach is 30 minutes drive. Bus stops right out front. Car is recommended. We are excited to share the magic of our compound. We feel very lucky.
