The Spare Girl West Coast Hideaway

This private and unique off grid cabin hidden in the forest has rustic charm, a bright bedroom, wood heat, solar power, running water and is steps away from one of the least travelled beaches in Canada. The top comment from guests at the Spare Girl is " I haven't slept that well in years!". The Spare Girl is a cute two story log cabin nestled in a spruce forest steps away from North Beach. This space is best for one or two but there is a foam mattress to sleep another guest on the floor in a pinch. The basic amenities are available including linens, kitchenware, cold running water and potable water, solar/wind power, wood heat. Guests at the Spare Girl use a private composting outhouse. There is a shared shower house in the wild garden. The cabin is very private and provides great access to everything that Northern Haida Gwaii has to offer. Guests can access all of the property, it's various fire pits and the expanse of North Beach! We highly value your privacy and will maintain minimal interaction with guests however the owners live on the property and are readily available to help guests with any questions or needs. We are pleased to offer a WIFI free environment! There is limited cell service in the cabin but full bars down on the beach. Note: The propane oven has been replaced.
