The Burgundy Room (Main Floor)

This comfy vintage Burgundy Room offers a nice queen size bed with a mini-fridge and a computer table. You have access to the common kitchen, living room and home bathroom. Outside, there is a fire pit and an opportunity to relax on a long chair while looking at the fields and trees surrounding us. And there is an enchanting brook just steps away. PLEASE NOTE, WE CANNOT OFFER QUARANTINE STAYS AT THIS TIME. Hosted by warm and friendly hosts, Johanne and Hal, the "Sunshine House" is a century home with a cosy, cottage feeling. Built in the late 1800's, the home's kitchen, sitting room, sunroom, large yard and shared bathroom are accessible by guests. If you would like to see the sights Cape Split, Halls Harbor, Grand-Pre, Kingsport Beach, Acadia University, walking trails and parks are all minutes away.! The home's kitchen, sitting room, sunroom, large yard and shared bathroom. Hal and I (Johanne) take pride in providing a home away from home atmosphere here at the Sunshine House. We like to think of it as a place where karma meets atmosphere. We provide a casual, clean, country environment where you can enjoy your own space or chitchat about the weather or the state of the Universe. One of us is usually around to help you if you need it. enjoy your stay :) We are in a quiet country neighbourhood minutes from Canning, Kentville, New Minus and Acadia University in Wolfville. And there are so many beautiful beaches, canoeing opportunities and beautiful countrysides just around the corner here in the Annapolis Valley. You can park here free on the property. To get around, you will need wheels for there is no public transportation in the vicinity. This is a bilingual home if you like :)) Johanne is French and happy to converse with you in French or English. Hal only speaks English but will be happy to listen to your French.
