Grocery and liquor store close walking distance. 5 mins drive from Deer Lake Airport, a short scenic drive to Gros Morne National Park and 25 mins drive to Marble Mountain Ski Resort where you can Ski, Zip Line over a beautiful waterfall! There is a playground down the street. Deer Lake has a beautiful sandy beach and the Insectarium & Butterfly Garden are well worth visiting! Sorry no pets. Private, clean and cozy private 2 bedroom apartment on second floor. This is the only apartment in the building so it's very quiet. Free parking space next to entrance. Friendly hosts are available to answer questions if needed. Full access to bedrooms, bathroom, kitchen, livingroom, Wifi Fibre Op, laundry, TV with Netflix and Amazon Prime available. Hosts will provide check-in instructions upon booking confirmation. Hosts do not live at this location but we are readily available to connect with guests upon request. Neighborhood is very quiet, friendly and safe:) DRL buses travel across the island. There are local taxis but you can walk pretty much anywhere in Deer Lake. To visit Gros Morne it is best to have a personal car or rental. Some tourists and locals bicycle the island! No pets please! This is a non-smoking home. Please respect our proterty by smoking outdoors only and placing butts in designated container. Recycling bin for beverage containers provided in kitchen.
