Brookside Studio Suite

Nestled in 19 acres of forest, complete with it’s own babbling brook and deer trails, this private Studio Suite is designed to enhance the peaceful and tranquil surroundings of the property. The 440 sq. ft suite has a three-piece bathroom and kitchenette. The living space features a sofa bed couch, electric fireplace, large screen TV, and a window table where you can listen to the brook and enjoy meals or relax. The upper loft features a queen size bed, dresser and small seating space. Our self-contained Studio Suite is accessed through a shared front door of our home. Originally designed and built to be a custom Music Studio - this space has been converted for exclusive use as a guest suite - resulting in an almost sound-proof environment within our home to retain guests privacy. The upper loft bedroom has a full staircase for access and features Queen size bed, dresser and small seating space. The Kitchenette includes everything you need for preparing small meals such as a single burner induction cooktop, countertop air fryer/convection/ toaster oven, microwave, kettle, drip coffee maker, Tassimo, NutriBullet, pots, dishes, utensils, etc. The mini fridge has a separate freezer section. The bathroom has a large glass shower, toilet and vanity. The studio waste water is removed with a Saniflo system which will make a sound during its short operation. There is a friendly but excitable dog (JordieTheWhoodle) on premises who loves to meet our guests if they are comfortable with dogs. Outdoor seating area beside the creek to enjoy the serenity of the property. Being hosted in a section of our home means that we are usually near and can help out however we can. The owners have a pet dog on this property. Our property is wonderful for walking in nature or gazing at the stars. We are minutes from two beautiful beaches - Crescent and Rissers Provincial Park. We are also very close to the famous LaHave Bakery and the LaHave River Ferry for a quick crossing if you are heading to Lunenburg or Mahone Bay for sight-seeing, shopping or eating. Major stores for groceries or shopping are a short 20 minute drive along the beautiful LaHave River. A well stocked General Store, NSLC (liquor store) and gas station is six minutes away in beautiful Petite Riviere. Up the road from the store are art galleries and even a winery. We have our own local area restaurant within five minutes called The Osprey's Nest open Thursday-Sunday (search (Hidden by Airbnb) ) Well water is perfectly safe for drinking.
