Private entrance into private bedroom/bath

Cozy (yes, that means small!) bedroom with full-sized bed. Room attaches to a private bathroom/shower. Entrance to bedroom directly from street. TOTAL privacy. Free (no time limit) street parking on our block. Great location; very short stroll to the Fillmore. Wifi, linens, mini-fridge and coffeemaker included. No TV. Some guests seem surprised that the BR is small, but that is why this is perfect (best) for crashing for a night or two, if you are looking for comfort with a private entrance This is a small private bedroom/bathroom with its own entrance directly to the street . People find it very homey and quite comfortable, but it is best for "crashing" for a night or two, if you will be out and about and just want a clean, comfy place to sleep. Free wifi, with a mini-fridge and coffee maker in the room. You will have total privacy in your bedroom/private bath; we can't hear you, and you can't hear us! The few reviews that say the description is not accurate baffle us; we welcome your feedback! Bedroom door opens directly onto the street providing total privacy. Parking is free on our block (and the adjoining blocks). (No permits or time restrictions). Walking distance to all the nightlife in Fishtown, but our block is off the beaten path and very calm (and safe!) This room has its own entrance (from the street) so our guests have no access to the rest of the house and will only see us when you check in. We will leave you to enjoy your solitude unless you need something, but will be available if you have any questions or issues while you are here, but you won't see or hear from us unless you reach out. We ask guests to text if you need anything or if have any questions/concerns during your stay. It is a very small room with a few drawers for your belongings, but it is clean, with fresh linens and a comfy night's sleep. Fishtown is a great place! We are only a block from the Fillmore and a few blocks from Sugarhouse Casino, but our house is just enough off the beaten path of foot/car traffic that it is pretty quiet and peaceful. Fishtown is one of the new "hip" neighborhoods in Philly and it is very safe here. We are near everything and have the best of both worlds : walkable to restaurants/bars/public transit, without much foot traffic or outside noise. We are a block from Penn Treaty Park, the new Fillmore Entertainment venue, a mile from Penns Landing, and a 10 minute drive to Center City, Phila Museum of Art , Rodin and Barnes museums. Bike share is nearby, and there are many options for public transit. (But admittedly we are not public transit experts, so we may not be much help to you in figuring anything more than where the stops are!). It is a very safe neighborhood, with something for everyone. You can walk to a lot of bars, restaurants and parks from our house, but there are also cabs, busses, and the "El" (also called the Blue Line) which goes to Center City and connects to other rails. Lots of folks use Uber and Lyft as wel. Parking is easy (and free!) in our block (and the surrounding blocks) if you have a car. We have 2 small, hypo-allergenic dogs that are not permitted in the AirBnB room. They will be in the house, however. Most guests don't even notice them after the initial check-in process, since they are closed off from the space your will be staying. (But you might encounter them when you check in). Most guests love the cozy space but our reviews will reflect some who expect something different. If you are expecting the Ritz Carlton, this is not your place. It is clean and comfortable and Fishtown is a very cool part of Philly!
