Nan's Nook on the Mira

Beautiful private suite (no kitchen) in a home on the river with amazing views and sunsets- all the things that summer vacation should be. Bon fires, swimming, and soaking up the sun at the river's edge. On the Mira River, a short 15 minute drive to the Fortress of Louisbourg National Historic Park or into the city of Sydney, Cape Breton, Nova Scotia. In a place so beautiful there is a song about it. Out on the Mira is where you want to be. One bedroom, bathroom, living area, another small den with a bunk bed and a pull out single bed in the sofa. No kitchen but has a mini fridge, coffee maker, microwave and toaster. Shared beach access with homeowners as well as shared fire pit. Guests can contact us via cell/ text from 9am- 9pm to address any questions. Nan's Nook is located on a large property, and you will share the waterfront with the host family. There is a 20" dock for belly flops and swan dives, and a communal fire pit for s'mores and evening bonfires. You will need a car to arrive and travel around this beautiful destination. We are considered in the country. There is no public transit - although taxi services do exist.
