Beautiful property in a secure gated community with spacious verandas and a rooftop terrace, all overlooking the azure Caribbean Sea. Three bedrooms, each with veranda access, a well equipped kitchen, laundry room, and lots of veranda seating make this a comfortable vacation home. WE HAVE GONE SOLAR!! No more worries about power outages. We have 20 solar panels and a Tesla Powerwall2 battery, plus we are still connected to the grid. Post María repairs have left the place even more beautiful! El Cocal beach, hailed as one of the finest in the Caribbean, is only a two minute walk away. Lush vegetation surround the house and gorgeous mountain and ocean views can be seen from the verandas and rooftop terrace. The entire house is yours, with plenty of parking space, front and back lawns and lovely landscaping. We live stateside, but have the most awesome gardener/caretaker who will make sure you are comfortably settled in and who is available if you need anything. I am retired, so am available by phone call, text, or email anytime. If a party scene is what you want, this property is not for you. Vista Montemar is located in a serene and secure gated community that virtually shuts down after 8 or 9 p.m. and provides the peaceful tranquility that many vacationers seek. Our neighbors occasionally entertain guests on weekends, but most of the time the only sounds you will hear are those of the birds and coquís serenading you to sleep at night. Wake up refreshed and ready to enjoy a cup of Puerto Rican coffee and a view of the azure Caribbean Sea from the second story veranda. Between the months of March and June, marine turtles lay their eggs on El Cocal beach! A local conservation group watches out for and protects these turtle nesting areas. There is no public transportation in the area. You definitely will need to rent a car. But keep in mind that when you want to spend time on our gorgeous beach, it’s just a two minute walk away! Hopefully, no one in your group is allergic to cats because we have a resident cat, Vera, who is strictly an outdoor cat. She loves to lounge on the verandas and is fed morning and night by caring neighbors.
