Sit out on the 430 sqft of any of the 4 balconies while you watch the seagulls diving for food or the waves rippling on the 5 miles of secluded, calm private swim beach. Grill up the fish you caught and have a cocktail while you watch the spectacular sunsets at the pool, that are so much a part of LaPaz. After a day at the beach or swimming with the sea lions, take a long hot shower in one of 3 separate master bathrooms with floor to ceiling travertine showers. Take the private boat shuttle to the Melecon so you can explore down town LaPaz. Make sure to stop at LaFuenta for some fantastic homemade ice cream and gelato while you stroll the 7 miles of tiled waterfront walkways. There are plenty of great places to eat along the Melecon all within walking distance or a 40 peso cab ride. Play a round of golf on the award winning Arthur Hills golf course and the newly opened Troon course at Costa Baja. If you fly in to LaPaz, take the cab to the Cortez Marina dock where you will board one of our eco friendly boats for the 10 minute boat ride to the Palapa where you will be greeted by staff and driven to your condo. All boat are included for guests. Take the one hour drive to Todos Santos for a day of shopping and surfing .. have lunch or enjoy a cocktail at the famous 'Hotel California'. A must is a trip to Espiritu to swim with the sea lions and dolphins. It is spectacular and includes lunch at a pristine beach with the most beautiful clear blue water. The cost is about $65 per person US. There are so many great things to see and do in LaPaz and the people are super friendly. The infinity pool is spectacular at 50 meters and has a great view of the water. There are plenty of beach lounges with sunbrellas, swim up bar and grill while you bask in the sun. Take a bike ride around the island on one of many beach cruisers available for your use. Take a free yoga class by the pool, or schedule a massage in the privacy of your room by a licensed massage therapist who lives on site. Whether coming down with a group of friends for a fishing weekend, golf outing, or for a quiet get away, we know you will truly enjoy our Villa on the Sea of Cortez. Our unit is definitely non-smoking and a maximum of 8 people please. Free Resort-wide WiFi. Daily maid service is available at an extra cost. We do have access to additional units so if you have a big group of people and need extra units, send us an email. Guest access Once you have arrived at our beach front home you will have access to the entire space and all the amenities Paraiso Del mar has to Offer. When you arrive at Marina Cortez on the Malecon (formerly Vista Coral), look for the gate leading out to the docks just before Cafe Capri. Our shuttle boats dock there. Staff at the Marina are very helpful, so ask them where to wait for the Paraiso del Mar boats. Once you cross over to the Resort, a shuttle will take you to our unit. We have installed “Schlage-Link” locks on the front door to the cabin. We program in a four-digit code into the lock that is unique to you, so all you have to do is press in the code, the little green light will come on and you can operate the lock. That way, nobody has access to the condo while you are renting it…no keys floating around at all. Also, we usually program the lock to the last four digits of your mobile phone. That way most everyone in your party can easily remember the code.
