Casa Malinche: treehouse views on an organic farm

This a tree-house on the edge of a permaculture farm on the folds of Volcano Maderas, with spectacular views to Volcano Conception and Volcano Maderas and Lake Cocibolca It's conveniently located just 15 minutes from town of Balgüe and ten minutes from the official Maderas trail-head. Relax in the hammocks and enjoy the sounds of nature in this and educational and immersive farm-stay. The space is open and airy and light, with spectacular views to both volcanoes. The houses are hand-built by local craftsmen and filled with local art. We use sustainable and local materials... the bamboo is all from our surrounding farm. There is a comfortable work-space for digital nomads, with desks that are made from eucalyptus, also sourced from the farm. The houses come complete with hammock chairs, queen beds, private balcony and kettle and a unique insight into local agriculture. Guests have full access to the open-air kitchen and organic farm produce, free fiber-optic wifi and access to the farm trails and (enclosed) animals around. You can contact staff who will be around on the property during the day for anything you may need. You can contact a host via wahstapp during your stay with any issues. The house is situated just outside of the vibrant town of Balgüe, which is a small and friendly community. The center of town is 15 minutes by foot, which has several local grocery stores, great restaurants and bus stops. You can buy gasoline in town. The town's economy is based in tourism, agriculture and fishing. The house is at the base of Maderas volcano hiking trails. You can see ancient petroglyphs nearby, visit coffee plantations and co-operatives or simply relax in the private hammocks, surrounded by re-forested, tamed jungle. You can park for free at the car-park one minute from the house if you have your own vehicle. The driveway is a little rocky. 4x4 s best. For smaller/lower cars there is another private parking alternative 5 minutes away by foot. 4x4 taxis can bring you up to the house. Let us know if you would like us to arrange that for you.
