This unique, three-story almond-wood house is surrounded by tropical beauty, in the midst of what seems like a nature park. Monkeys, coatimundis, agoutis, toucans, and anteaters visit the 2-acre grounds, all just 300 meters from Playa los Cedros. The outstanding architectural design of this unique house offers two stories of living space and an observation deck on the third level. The observation deck is the place to enjoy your morning coffee as you watch the tropical animals and birds in the surrounding tree canopy. The house sleeps up to six adults quite comfortably, with three bedrooms and three bathrooms. There is an outside shower for rinsing off after the beach as well as an inside shower with hot water. Each floor has an open area to sit and enjoy the tropical trees and flowers. You'll feel the stress melt away as you listen to the peaceful sound of the stream that runs by the house. The wonderful layout of windows and doors offer great views and all are screened to invite in the fresh ocean breeze. Ceiling fans cool the rooms, and the house is well-designed for comfort and relaxation. Water is provided by a spring-fed private system: it's pure enough to bottle and sell, right from the tap. This house provides 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, well-equipped kitchen, two bikes, local cell phone, gas BBQ grill, wildlife books and brochures, beach towels and linens, and weekly cleaning service. The owner of Casa Montezuma lives nearby, and is available to help as needed, without disturbing your privacy. Playa los Cedros is one of the most beautiful beaches in this area, and is just 300 meters (yards) from the house. This beach is quiet and uncrowded, for perfect days of sun and fun. There is a local shuttle bus that runs 4-5 times a day between the towns of Cabuya and Montezuma. Local taxis are inexpensive, and will pick up-drop off at the house. Many of our guests have told us that they see more wildlife at the house than at the local nature parks. Truly the place for nature lovers!
