A full-service Bed and Breakfast in the lovely little town of San Ramon, Alajuela, Costa Rica.We invite the Costa Rican traveler into our teak and concrete abode, nestled in the beautiful coffee-planted mountains just ten minutes north of San Ramon. The name “Casa Amanecer” means “Sunrise House”. The rustic modern structure (published in architecture magazine Su Casa, March 2009) faces east, where amazing sunrises may be taken in, along with the breath-taking panoramic view of the mountains. Come relax, hook up to Wi-fi, peruse our library and get a taste of the best that Costa Rica has to offer. We offer vegetarian meals and unique tour packages. (Meat dishes served upon request.) It is our belief that one can live comfortably while at the same time care for our Earth. We at Casa Amanecer are very conscious of our health and our environment. We are looking forward to hosting you! You have access to a nice, peaceful covered veranda just off of your room with private entrance. Our guests enjoy sitting here and enjoying the mountain view while they have breakfast or relax during the day with a book. You also have access to the living area with a comfy sofa, lending library and souvenirs. Our good friend and associate Helen and staff will receive you and make you feel right at home. They love to converse with you and give you travel suggestions. Their first language is Spanish, so feel free to practice with them! We are located in the small, rural neighborhood of San Juan, just 5 minutes northeast of San Ramon. It's peaceful and the climate is pleasant all year round. We are just a one-minute walk to the bus. A taxi ride to town takes about 5 minutes and costs $5.
