Casa El Paraiso - Paradise House

Casa El Paraiso (Paradise House) is the place to make your dreams come true. Inside it you'll enjoy a vast private garden, forest and fruit orchard making you feel in the countryside. Step outside and you'll be one block from the upper end of Calle Real and Santa Barbara Chapel, ready to head down into town to visit, dine, shop and enjoy its beauty, or up to the Bioparque with its stunning views of the breathtaking canyon and mountains around Barichara and the trail heads to access these. Tasteful rusticity in nature, in the upper part of the historic zone of town, with the typical and unique architectural style of Barichara. Open air house to connect directly with nature and disconnect from stress as you watch and listen to the birds on the trees right from the house and its stone terrace. Walk through the private forest garden trails and pick some fresh fruits to connect even better. Besides access to the full house you will be able to enjoy its vast private forest-garden, the biggest in town, which is a big big plus. The only restricted area is that of Casa-Taller El Paraiso, independently located on the same property, unless your party rents it jointly with Casa El Paraiso Another big plus is the private garage, scarce in Barichara, shared by both properties for up to 3 cars. If I'm in town I'll be staying in a separate home next to Casa de los Sueños and sharing its garden, ready to welcome and pamper you through your stay. If I'm not in town a well trained team will replace me in doing so. If you need to accommodate additional guests I may even rent my adjacent home, Casa-Taller El Paraiso, to you if available. Santa Barbara is the best neighbourhood in Barichara. Fresh and calm, yet a ten minute walk from the town's main square and a five minute walk to the Bioparque and trailheads for those wishing to immerse further in nature. Barichara is very walkable. If you want prefer a ride there are "tuc-tucs" or moto-taxis available in town and comfortable taxis and public vehicles to drive you to nearby towns like Guane and San Gil.
