The Hip Cottage

Welcome to "The Hip Cottage", our executive suite in the centrally located North Ward neighbourhood in Brantford. We are only a few minutes drive from Wilfred Lauier University, Conestoga College, the Sanderson Centre and Brantford General Hospital. This suite is excellent for guests attending functions within the Brantford area. The Village of Paris is within a 15 minute drive. Quick access to the 403 and walking distance to Brantford’s downtown tourist and central business district. Our guest cottage is approximately 1100 sf which includes private side entry to allow you access to come and go with ease. The cottage is a well lit, has ample sunlight and provides blinds when you choose to retire or have more privacy. The kitchen is fully equipped with a ceramic top stove, dishwasher, large fridge and microwave. French Press coffee and a selection of teas are available for your enjoyment. Basic spices and all the tools you need to cook a good meal are available for you to use. If cooking is not your thing we have provided you with a list of 'local eats' and 'order in' options. Our guests have the entire home to themselves with on site parking for two mid sized vehicles behind the house. Large windows provide ample light and open concept design give a feel of ample space that is airy yet cosy. We are within close proximity to the property and can remain in contact with you on a regular basis as needed through the Air b n b site. The Hip Cottage is centrally located situated on a main street and within walking distance to several activities and amenities in Brantford. On site parking is available along with motion sensor lighting to illuminate walkways duuring the evening. Take a relaxing walk through neighbouring Holmedale down to the Grand River walking trail, enjoy a delicious coffee and pastry at the neighbouring coffee shop, experience one of the local wineries or breweries or go for a dinner cruise down the river. Several hiking and local self guided tour options within close proximity along with maps provided at the house to help you discover this quaint part of Ontario. Parking is available on site behind the house. The mutual drive can accomodate up to mid sized vehicles. For our guests with larger vehicles, on street parking is available on the street behind the house. Please abide by municipal parking bylaws when parking in these areas. The master bedroom has a plush queen-sized cannonball bed with hypoallergenic organic linens and luxury bamboo pillows. The bathroom is equipped with towels, handsoap, and shampoos. A full sized stackable washer and dry, iron and ironing board will assist you in keeping your clothes in tip top shape while visiting. A 50” screen TV with Netflix and WiFi access will satisfy all of your tech needs.
