Great room with private bath ensuite (stair access only) - country setting - guests are welcome to just hang around and relax on patio or veranda or go for a swim in our pool . There is also a lake with a kayaks. Within minutes of the Fortress of Louisbourg, trails, beaches One Bedroom with ensuite there is no television in room - but we do have wifi), sitting area in living room and patio - comfortable friendly surroundings Great stop-over after a long day visiting the Fortress of Louisbourg....within five minutes.....I have added a number of photos of Louisbourg and the Cape Breton area We look forward to meeting new people. Previous guests have requested information about our island and we have provided them with our knowledge of Cape Breton. Quiet neighbourhood in wooded area off the highway - near lake (please don't go to Marvin Street as the map on the profile shows....for some reason my road does not come up...I will contact you with specific directions. the Town of Louisbourg is just 2 minutes down the road with the Fortress being at the end of the road.....also Lighthouse Trail (easy to do - a short version and a longer version) with beautiful scenery along ocean - a must see...trails also along ocean towards Fortress as well....Kennington Cove Beach nearby as as well as Mira Gut Beach which both are all sand, picnic area at Kennington Cove and the Lighthouse Trail....many local restaurants in the Town as well as an endless supply of Lobster. City of Sydney within 25 minutes (fine restaurants)- lots to see - Baddeck and Cabot Trail within 90 minutes
