Grenada Shimmy Shack

Less than 100 footsteps from tranquil Morne Rouge Beach, St. George, Grenada, The Grenada Shimmy Shack is a little ole’ place where you can get together. The self catering condo is a one bedroom with a American king-sized bed, plus a single couch, suitable for sleeping a 3rd person. Morne Rouge beach is the best kept secret on the island. Only minutes walk to the bustling Grande Anse beach, and a one mile walk to Spiceland Mall where you can catch the bus to St. George's or do some shopping. There are a couple of choices for eating beachside, or relax on the veranda and take advantage of our kitchen, kitted out for basic needs. You will have the entirety of the veranda, garden and studio apartment. Other people live in Mahogany Run, so please respect that although you are on holiday, others live here. Ours is a gated community and we do not have self check in. Our hostess will check you in and acquaint you with the property. I do not live on the island, but have a hostess at your disposal for tips and information. Morne Rouge beach is very much a local beach on the weekends. Why stay in an all inclusive resort with other holiday makers when you can hang with the locals?! Cruise ships do drop passengers off at our beach, but it never gets as crowded as Grande Anse beach. Taxi, buses or rent a car. You can get anywhere on the island by one of these methods. Once you are booked, you will get our booking form emailed to you.
