We are easy going and happy to share our local knowledge or just let you go your own way. Adventure packages are our forte, let us know if you want more of an experience. Kikau (coconut tree frond) is one of three fully self-contained studios with your own outdoor deck and views out to Avana, Motutapu and Oneroa. Quiet location with beautiful tropical gardens, plunge pool and two chillax areas. Enjoy cocktails from the Smugglers Cove onsite bar and you have use of our shared BBQ-entertainment area. We specialise in adventurous holidays so if you are looking for more than just a place to stay speak with us about tailoring a group family or friends package. We can cater for upto 10 people. We also own Ariki Adventures, the #1 adventure company in the Cook Islands and winner of the Eco-Adventure Tourism Award in 2020. Coupled with the Flying Turtle Café in Muri we can provide a full or partial “Eat Stay Play” package. All our guests receive priority booking and 10% discount. You can hire a car or motor scooter either on arrival or pre ordered and collected at the aiport. There is a great bus service that runs the circumference of the island every 45 mins or we hire Fat-wheeled MTBs from our café which is a great way to see the island. We also have some great walking tracks in close proximity. We do not live on site, but available in the office Mon-Fri in the mornings and there is a phone at the bar where you can contact us anytime We are in the "tourist capital" of Muri! Yet we are in a quiet off road setting, with a 1k walk to the centre of the village, and 500m to the lagoon, our cafe and restaurants. we have peeps of the lagoon and surrounded by coconut and banana trees. We are close enough for you to access Muri and all it offers but away from the hustle and bustle of the busy season. As we are kiteboarders we can offer all our knowledge on where to kite and store your gear with us, being up the hill means we are not exposed to the constant winds of the windy season. Many guests choose to stay with us for affordable accomodation when attending weddings in the local resorts. There is a bus stop at the bottom of the drive, it goes both ways round the Island for $5, and we have parking for scooters or a car. The airport shuttle will drop you at the door for $20pp. We also have bike hire also which can be here for you on arrival. We have two super friendly dogs Tama & Miri who like to socialise with our guests. However we can keep them out of your way if you are allergic etc. Tama is our Night Paddle specialise and has been paddling since he was 9 weeks old. He loves night paddles.
