All You Need and More

Vintage home with an eclectic touch of modern in a quiet family neighborhood on a tree lined block; very close to forest preserves, shopping, public transportation, and easy access to many hospitals (for medical students), Chicago, Forest Park, Oak Park, and O'Hare. Home will be shared with a married m/f couple (owners) and permanent female renter. Entire 1st floor and outside is for use and most of the basement. There are 2 rooms available in this home through Air bnb though separate listings. The private room has a pass code lock on door and is small but more than efficient. 40" TV with almost all of the cable channels (including premium), OnDemand, Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime, and Chromecast (for mirroring your personal device). Decorated with students or business travelers in mind but nice and comfortable for anyone! Full size memory foam mattress; Blackout curtains; desk with extremely comfortable office chair; full length mirrors, and storage space (shelving, drawers on bed, and closet). A single extra folding bed is available but there will be very little space in room except for sleeping. This bed is only set up by request so please give us advance notice if this bed will be needed for your stay. Note, if single bed is setup, accent chair (which single bed folds from), desk, and office chair will be removed and/or unavailable for use. Room is steps away from the bathroom which is mainly only used by one other person (who is rarely home). Access is limited to first floor common areas and reasonable access to laundry is available for guest after staying 8 days. Guests must see host(s) before using laundry and are responsible for their own laundry supplies. It should be easy for you to make yourself at home! Guest MUST coordinate check-in time with us. We MUST be available for check-in. We do not offer self check-in. Guests are welcome to reasonable use of the sunroom with massage chair and recliners, kitchen, living room, and backyard. Street parking is limited to 5 weekdays per month and unlimited weekend days (Saturday and Sunday). Please contact us prior to booking if you will need parking for longer. We are open to chatting with guest and giving recommendations or information on Chicagoland but I do work a lot so sometimes it may just be a simple good morning 😀 in passing. Permanent renter works in hospitality so she's full of information about Chicagoland. The best way to reach us is through the Airbnb app so both host and co-host have access to assist. The best way to get around varies from car service (uber, Lyft, taxi/cab) and public transportation. (Hidden by Airbnb) is a good option for comparing which mode of transportation would be better to get to and/or from desired destination. Remember to adjust time and day to reflect as desired as this may alter the best route and/or mode of transportation. For those that are driving and may need parking at a destination away from the house, follow the link below for discount parking near your destination.
