Also with views of the two top Rio touristic sites, The Christ Statue and Sugar Loaf. Along with the use of the private apartment, the apartment is only a five mins walk from the subway station. Also easy access from the International Airport, with special shuttle drop off two doors down from the apartment building (Premium auto bus that goes to the major hotels). The apartment is also 12 mins away from the Santos Dumont airport and downtown Rio. There is also a taxi stop two doors down from the building. I am the owner of the apartment, and I live a few minutes away from the building. I will be accessible anytime via e-mail or phone. The apartment is located directly across from the old Presidential Palace, "Palacio do Catete", with views of the beautiful presidential garden where you can take tai-chi-chuan classes in the early morning. The palace also hosts a movie theatre, theatre, exhibition hall, and restaurant. Alongside the beach (6 mins walk), there are jogging trails, soccer, tennis and volleyball courts at your disposal. We are 10 mins subway ride to Copacabana and 20 mins from Ipanema beaches. The Christ Statute and Sugar loaf are a short 12 mins car ride away. We are also 10 mins away from one of Rio's hottest spots, the artsy and trendy Santa Teresa neighborhood, where you can spend the day viewing exhibitions from local artists, in museums, restaurants, and also experience one of the best night scenes in Rio.
