The villa is on private beachfront property, with private access to the beach. Wooden Villa type, in the same space is the bedroom with double bed ceiling fan, the fully equipped kitchen and the bathroom with toilet, the shower is on the outside of the house where you can enjoy a nice bath surrounded by the beautiful trees and the sea breeze. Please note that in this house we use rain water and well water, we recommend you to get drinking water for drinking and cooking. The house is surrounded by a 2000 mts2 garden with tropical trees and flowers, it is ideal for those who enjoy tranquility and simplicity. From the terrace of Villa del Mar you can enjoy the ocean view, the sea breeze and the tranquility and relaxation of the sound of the sea. Guests are appreciated to help us by taking out their garbage regularly, as we have a situation with wildlife, especially raccoons looking for garbage when it is accessible. Please do not leave any food containers or garbage at night, especially after the last meal. The dumpster is right at the entrance on the outside of the property on the street, it has red and white reflective tape. IMPORTANT: if this notice is not respected, any inconvenience will be deducted from the security deposit. The 2,550 sq.m.(2/3 acre) property includes three delightful wooden houses. Also available nearby are treks through the national parks and rain forests, canopy tours, kayaking, dolphin watching, horse riding, botanical gardens, an Indian reservation, a sloth sanctuary and an iguana farm. Relaxing is effortless, when you are within easy reach of several spas, massage and yoga classes. Development in the area is low-key, and cosmopolitan North American, South American, Spanish, Italian, French, Dutch, English, Swiss and many other nationalities have roots in and around Cocles. An excellent grocery store is about 300 yards away, and there are several restaurants within easy walking distance. Joanna's is a great spot for fresh local food. Pecora Nera is a world-class Italian restaurant, a short walk past the simpler Gato Nero. Internet cafe's are available at a reasonable cost. The active nightlife of Puerto Viejo (especially at weekends) is a bike or short taxi ride away. The lush environment owes its beauty to rainfall, but there are usually sunny periods ranging from a few hours to a few weeks. The setting is magical. For the energetic, there is so much to do. For the rest of us, there is always the hammock. Please note that pet owners are responsible for any damage caused by their pets, to third parties or property furnishings. Dogs are not allowed to climb on beds, couches, hammocks or any other furniture. The pet cannot sleep on the beds, it must bring its own bed or something provided for this purpose. If the house has a swimming pool, the dog may not enter it. If your dog is used to climb on the furniture, it is preferable that you bring your own sheets and towels, to avoid any inconvenience. Please be sure to pick up your pet's droppings from the property. We reserve the right to refuse admission to pets that cause a nuisance to neighbors during the stay. To leave or enter the property you must always keep your pet on a leash. Your pet may not be left alone in the property at any time, to avoid disturbance to the neighbors by barking as well as damage to the property. The pet may not be bathed in the bathrooms or showers of the house and the towels of the house may not be used to dry it.in any of the above mentioned cases, the security deposit will not be refunded, or will be partially refunded. The last check in we do is at 7:00 PM, if you are coming later please let us know ahead to coordinate your check in. Late check ins have an extra fee of $20 from 7pm - 9pm. Late check ins from 9pm - 10 pm have an extra fee of $50. NO late check ins after 10pm.
