Colorful sun shiny home conveniently located in nice neighborhood on open tree lined street close to the University as well as parks, shopping and restaurants. Get to campus any way you like, it is just one mile away! Walk, bike, unicycle, rollerblade, bus, taxi or car! Convenient bus stops in front of my home! This is a perfect solution for folks with business at the University looking for a pleasant place to stay and relax too. This is a cozy little family friendly home! Ideal for family coming to town for weddings and reunions. Information on local restaurants, shopping and attractions available. City ordinance allows me to rent to families and up to three friends or non-related individuals. BEDROOMS: Three bedrooms with one twin size, one full size and one king size bed. There is a fold-out couch, a comfy sofa, and futon mattress that can be used for as beds in the living room. BATHROOMS: Two bath rooms, one featuring a bathtub with jacuzzi jets. This is a regular sized tub that fits one person with massaging spray jets. LIVING ROOM: Beautiful bamboo hardwood floor living room with comfortable couches. KITCHEN: Fully-equipped kitchen with microwave and dishwasher. BREAKFASTS: Tea and coffee are always available. Breakfast foods such as bagels, cereal and fruit available if requested in advance. PARKING: Parking in driveway and plenty on the street. YARD: Back yard deck with chairs and picnic table for outdoor dining. Large backyard with fire pit means you can cook out, roast marshmallows, or relax by campfire. BIKING: In this bike friendly town, you may prefer a bike to get around! The city has an extensive network of bike lanes. I have a good selection of tools if you need to do a quick repair job. I can give you advice on local group rides or plan a visit to our closest mountain biking trails at Kickapoo State Park. INTERNET: We have wireless internet. TELEVISION: Unfortunately we do not have or television or cable. My home is a smoke-free drug-free. If you need to smoke please do so outside. Feel free to use all the interior spaces on the first floor. The basement and garage is not intended for guests as it serves as our own storage and work space. If you need parking in the garage, please let me know in advance and we can clear space for you to park. However, there is plenty of parking in the driveway and on street. I always enjoy meeting people and will check you in if possible, although sometimes I am traveling or may be at work. If I can't meet you I will the send you a code for the lock box. If traveling, I will leave you a second contact in case you have any immediate needs. Once you have checked in, you will have privacy in the home. If it is garden season we may need to water and care for the garden so we may need to access the garage and garden. I always try to message you to let you know in advance. My home is in a family neighborhood with an elementary school across the street and we are next to a church. It is on a large street with plenty of street parking on the near side of the street along with driveway parking. We are near two bus lines, the red stopping at our corner and the green stopping one block away. It is also about half hour walk from campus or ten minute bike ride. There is plenty of street parking on the near side of the street. Avoid parking in the bike line on the far side of the street. And there is also driveway parking. We do NOT have cable or satellite TV at all.
