Windermere Creek Bed & Breakfast Cabins

The Homestead cabin is the original house on our property, built in 1887. It has a wonderful covered porch, nice indoor sitting area and a large bathroom with both a double Jacuzzi tub and a separate shower. Although we've left the TV and a kitchen out of this one, it does have a sound system and wireless internet. We don't allow cooking in it, but there is a small fridge/freezer and a coffee/tea station. 1 queen + 1 pullout. $20/night for 3rd. This is the authentic log cabin in the Rockies! We have over 107 acres here, with lots of hiking trails, 3/4ths of a mile of creek frontage and we're very central in the valley. If you enjoy golfing, there are 12 courses within a 30 minute drive. 3 public beaches are close as well as 3 hot springs. Typically, either Scott or Astrid will be available at all times. The Windermere Valley has been a favourite tourism destination for generations. With warm water beaches and golfing in the summer and skating and skiing in the winter and hot springs year round, the "Warm Side of the Rockies" has something for everyone! While there is limited public transportation and taxi service available, you'll want your own transportation to enjoy all that the valley has to offer. Sorry, no pets as there is too much wildlife, from relatively tame snowshoe hares that we don't want animals to chase, to all of the wild animals of the Rockies.
