The whole suite is yours! The Garden View Suite includes a fully equipped kitchen, living room with 32" TV, 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, balcony, laundry, wifi and much more! The TV has Netflix, Tune In Radio and YouTube. The Master Bedroom has a King Bed and the Junior Bedroom has a Queen Bed. There are stairs to the unit, so unfortunately, we are not handi-accessible. Any guests with mobility issues should be very aware of this factor. The suite is self-catered. Tapion House is a premier guest house in the upscale Tapion district of Castries, St Lucia. Our fully furnished suites are air conditioned, boast a full kitchen, spacious living room, comfortable bedrooms, relaxing balcony, dinette and in suite laundry. We are centrally located and are close to Rodney Bay, Castries, Marigot and a host of activities. In the Kitchen, we provide an initial supply of condiments such as salt, pepper, various spices, ketchup, mustard, mayonnaise, etc. Additionally, we provide $100.00 XCD (about $40.00 USD) in complimentary groceries. This provides basics like bread, eggs, yogurt, rice, tea, coffee, fruit and so forth, subject to availability. Tapion House is serviced by municipal water, which is potable. In the Living Room a dedicated router provides complimentary wifi. The 32" smart TV has Netflix, YouTube and Tune In Radio. The units are wired with UK 240V power, but we do provide outlet adapters. Please be aware, these are adapters only and do not transform power to EU 220V or North American 110V. The room is serviced by a 24,000 BTU air conditioner. The Master Bedroom has a Queen-sized bed. The large closet has plenty of clothes hangers, an ironing board and iron, as well as a blow dryer. The room is serviced by an 12,000 BTU air conditioner. The Junior Bedroom has a Full-sized (aka Double) bed and the likewise large closet has plenty of storage space and clothes hangers. The room is serviced by a 12,000 BTU air conditioner. The Garden View Suite has a single bathroom, which consists of a shower, toilet and sink. Bar soap and shampoo are provided for your convenience. Hot water is generated via solar power, so we urge caution as water can be EXTREMELY hot. A generous supply of towels are in place. We provide a charcoal grill on the balcony, along with an initial supply of coals. The Laundry Room has a top-load washer. A drying rack and clotheslines are available and in case of inclement weather, we do have an electric clothes dryer available in our private suite. For UK NHS personnel and especially those doing electives at Tapion or Victoria Hospitals, we offer a 10% discount in appreciation of your services and skills. Send us a message for a special offer that provides that discount! Come enjoy the breath-taking beauty of St Lucia and come Home. By The Sea. The entire 2 bedroom suite is yours. Parking is available for a vehicle. Please advise us if you have a vehicle so we can ensure that nothing stops you from driving right in. The suite is fully contained with more than ample towels, pots and pans and dishes for your use during your stay. You also have your own washing machine that no one else will use. This suite is accessible by a set of stairs down to your balcony where the front doors are located. Unfortunately, this precludes us from being handi-accessible and potential guests with mobility issues should be very aware of this situation. The suite is self-catered, meaning that during the length of your stay all cleaning, cooking, dish-washing and laundry are the responsibility of the guests. We can provide contact information for service providers, however all arrangements and payment must be made by the guest directly with the service provider. Breakfast is provided for the first morning only. Typical items we provide include eggs, bread, yogurt, cheese, oatmeal, grits, bagels, coffee, tea, UHT milk, cereal, baked beans, etc. All items are subject to availability. As the suite is self-catered, all cooking is left to our guests. A variety of dry goods (coffee, tea, spices, condiments) are provided to get you started. We are on municipal water, which is potable. We live upstairs and will greet you upon arrival, with a refreshing rum punch! If you need anything we are here for you, so feel free to ask any and all questions before your arrival or while you are with us! We enjoy socializing with our guests, but we recognize this is YOUR vacation. We are simply here to facilitate your having a wonderful time. So, feel free to stop by and chat or share a drink with us...but feel equally comfortable in not doing so. You've worked hard for your vacation time, so spend that precious time in the way that suits yourself and your family best! Our large, friendly dogs live upstairs with us and will not ever be permitted near you, without your explicit permission. Tapion is located just a few minutes drive from Castries city and has a small local beach within the neighbourhood. There are a few pubs (Hardest Hard & bistro within the Hospital) and restaurants (lollos) within the area. Grocery stores can be accessed via the shuttle or a drive down to Cul de Sac (5 minutes). Tapion Hospital (3 minute walk) offers a shuttle (9 minute drive) that takes you downtown Castries for under EC $2.00 one-way. Grocery stores, banks, duty free, Castries Harbour, Castries Central Market, Port Seraphine are all within a few blocks of the drop off point as well as any other business you can think of. Book an excursion/tour departing from Port Seraphine, and meet the tour using the shuttle, a short walk, and the ferry across the Harbour. We can provide the contact information for a cleaning service, if guests would like. Cleaning services are not included in your stay and all fees and rates would have to be made directly with the cleaning service. We do not charge for VAT, wifi, parking nor utilities. In accordance with Government Of St Lucia Regulations, all guests must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 prior to arrival, with a minimum of 14 days since their second vaccination prior to arrival. Guests must also submit an entry request and receive approval from the Government Of St Lucia to entry the country. A link with all necessary information will be provided to guests when a booking is confirmed.
