Egg Harbor Hideaway

The Egg Harbor Hideaway is a brand new guest suite, designed and built with Airbnb guests in mind. We were hosting guests for three years in Sturgeon Bay, and when we moved to Egg Harbor, we wanted to include a private space in our new home to continue welcoming Airbnb guests. Though we`ve also opened the main house up to Airbnb guests, we wanted to continue to offer this private guest suite. Thoughtfully decorated, meticulously cleaned and centrally located in Egg Harbor, our guest suite is the perfect four-season location for your Door County getaway. The Egg Harbor Hideaway is a private suite in a brand new home. You`ll take a flight of stair to your private entrance, with keypad deadbolt for entry, allowing you to check-in whenever you like without worrying about keys. Inside our suite, you`ll find a brand new apartment. We designed this place with Airbnb guests in mind. The kitchenette is stocked with everything you need (mini-fridge/freezer, toaster, microwave, large sink, kitchen utensils, Keurig, snacks, etc.). You`ll sleep soundly in the queen-sized bed with a brand new memory foam mattress from Tuft & Needle. The bathroom is appointed with beautiful new fixtures, the linens are plush and the shower has great water pressure. The WiFi is fast. The LED TV has an Amazon Fire Stick logged into Netflix and Amazon Prime so you can unwind and watch all your favorite shows and movies after a day of exploring the Peninsula. Our most important promise to you is cleanliness. As Airbnb continues to gain popularity, travelers have a lot more options. Competition brings out the best in us, and running the cleanest Airbnb is the best way we can set ourselves apart. We`ve built our reputation on it. Just check out our profile...We`ve been hosting on Airbnb since June of 2014, and we`ve had the designation of "Superhost" the entire time. Guests have access to the guest suite with a private entrance. Their is no "common area" that you`ll have to share with anyone. The patio and backyard are reserved for guests in the main house. We built the guest suite when we built our home in Egg Harbor. Sometimes, we will have the main house rented to other Airbnb guests. The unit has keypad dead-bolt, so check-in is automated. We now live in Sturgeon Bay and are available for any questions that may come up during your stay. We are located in the Village of Egg Harbor. You can walk to anywhere in Downtown Egg Harbor without any problem, including local restaurants, bars and our amazing local grocery store (Main Street Market). A beautiful new library is just one block away, and you can walk to the water within 5 minutes. You`ll be able to walk anywhere in Downtown Egg Harbor, which is centrally located in Door County, making it easy to drive anywhere else. Fish Creek is about 10 minutes north, Ephraim is roughly 15 and Sister Bay is about 20 minutes. Drive 15 minutes south and you`ll be in Sturgeon Bay (which should never be forgotten when visiting Door County). The space is located above the garage, so you`ll need to climb a set of stair to get to it. Even though it is above the garage, it is VERY well insulated (certified energy efficient) with air conditioning and heat. We have been hosting guests on Airbnb for years, we know that our guests want a peaceful stay, so we designed this space with Airbnb renters in mind. The garage under the suite is never used by other guests, so you`ll won`t have to worry about the garage door or cars bothering you during your stay.
