La Guarida Andean Palace

A newly restored colonial house in the center of Cuenca. The house mixes the rustic with a more modern sensibility showcasing the traditional materials used in Cuenca. The guests will enjoy their own private room in a spacious apt, which includes a living room (chimney included), a dining room, a kitchen, a lounge, a balcony facing the main street, and a garden terrace. The hosts have a cafeteria on the first floor which is available for ordering food and drinks. Laundry is available. La Guarida Colonial House is a 100 year old house completely restored filled with resting areas, balconies and a terrace. Many food markets are close by, city buses are found a block away and the main square is (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) minutes walking distance. La Guarida is also a cafe where you may order food and drinks. We often show movies, host plays and offer live music events (free of charge for our house guests). All guests have access to our cafeteria, our garden terrace and all common resting areas in the house. We also have laundry service (extra charge.) The guest may order any food (we can cater to our guests' needs) and any cocktails. The guests also have a TV room (upon request). Here in LaGuarida we are always available to our guests. They may contact us personally as we live in the premises or contact us by calling us or they may use (Hidden by Airbnb) , (Hidden by Airbnb) , Facetime or any other messaging apps. Our neighborhood is very quiet and in the center of Cuenca. A few blocks away you can find Supermaxi our biggest and fanciest supermarket. We recommend taking a taxi as they are inexpensive and safe.
