Villa Selva - a perch above the pool & jungle, AC

Villa Selva is a 1 bed / 1 bathroom second floor villa with a fold out couch for an additional guest. Selva is perched on the second floor overlooking the jungle. It is great for bird watching and seeing the monkeys scamper through the trees.  Selva is one of six villas at Villas Espavel. All 6 villas share the glorious pool, river access, an outdoor dining room and the bird's nest yoga space. Selva and the other 5 villas also have their own private outdoor space. Villas Espavel is a 5 to 10-minute walk to the beach, restaurants, Intercultura Language School and The Costa Rica School of Massage. Villas Espavel is very secure as the property is hidden away down a long driveway. There are 4 parking spots that are available on a first come, first served basis. There is ample street parking outside of our gate if all the parking spots are filled.   Selva has a well-equipped kitchen and a large outside balcony for dining and relaxing. The bedroom has air conditioning, an orthopedic queen mattress, comfortable pillows, and reading lights. The room allows you to settle in and unpack with shelves and clothes hanging space . There is also a combination safe for your valuables. The bathroom has a large shower with hot water. All the windows have window screens and security bars.  In the kitchen there’s a 4-burner electric stove and all the kitchen implements you’ll need to prepare beautiful meals. There are 3 powerful ceiling fans and bedroom air conditioning to keep you cool. The ample covered balcony, complete with a dining table, rocking chairs, and a hammock will be the place you want to stay forever. A favorite pass-time is swinging in the hammock or rocking in the teak rocking chairs while looking at the green jungle beyond the railing.  You will see our manager, Johanna, our cleaning & maintenance team and our gardener onsite most days.
