The Boathouse - Unplug and Unwind

Sweet one bedroom apartment over our working boathouse! Pleasant Point is quiet and picturesque nestled between Oyster Pond and the Ocean. While we hope you will unwind with no wifi nor TV, cell service is adequate. Fully outfitted kitchen so you can make fabulous meals. 15 minutes to grocery store and NSLC, 30 minutes to beautiful Martinique or Clam Harbour beaches. 2 Kayaks available for paddling about on Oyster Pond with the ducks, loons, a heron and a muskrat! like & follow on FB & Insta! This apartment, upstairs over our boathouse, looks out over Oyster Pond, a salt water lake fed by Musquodoboit Harbour. Enjoy your coffee with spectacular sunrises! Please feel welcome to use the dock, 2 Kayaks, yard games, and when fire regulations allow, enjoy an evening bonfire in the firepit. We ask that you supply your own firewood, but weinie/marshmallow roasting sticks are provided! Proprietor is on premises and can be available in daytime if you have questions. The Boathouse is part of our home and we feel it is an extension of our home. Our neighborhood is quiet but for the sound of lobster boats off the shoal, ducks, seagulls loons and crows, and children playing outside. You will need a car if you wish to head out to nearby beaches - it's about a 30 minute drive in either direction for Clam Harbour or Martinique. Groceries and supplies are 15 minutes by car to Jeddore. The Boathouse is accessed through our actual boathouse and up a flight of stairs. The space is not particularly suitable for young children. There is no wifi nor TV. Well water is suitable for washing and bathing, bottled water is provided for drinking. We are located on the water in the country so please be prepared for seasonal bugs!
