Bayou Blues Paradise Private 2 room Suite

This 2 bedroom Suite is located in a private area of our home. The two bedrooms share a Jack and Jill bathroom. Each bedroom has a private sink with a door to the bathroom shower and toilet area. One bedroom has a Queen bed and TV w Netflix. There are no standard tv channels. The other bedroom has a single daybed and no TV. There is a trundle under the daybed for a fourthperson or if one chooses there is an airbed for your convenience. This is a non smoking property. These rooms are in our home. Guests are welcome to visit in the living and dining area and there is a kitchenette where they can store refrigerated items and make coffee and tea. There is a lovely view of the bayou in the living area as well as on the back porch and outside deck. All the grounds are for your enjoyment. Guests will be given a keypad code to enter the front door of the house and a key to lock their room for security. Front door is left unlocked during the day for easy in and out. This is our private home so we will be around the premises. We enjoy visiting with our guests and sharing life stories when they are around but do understand that some guests prefer privacy and do respect this too. We are very flexible and respect our guests wishes 100%.. We live on the premises so you may see us in and out and about the house and surroundings. We provide coffee and tea in the morning in the living/dining area overlooking the bayou. We prefer no shoes on the Flokati living room rug. Our guests have full privacy of their guestrooms and bath. We have 1 shy cat named Cali that stays mostly in our bedroom at night. Cali is not allowed in the guest rooms. Although we keep the house very clean and our friends with cat allergies have no problems when visiting our home, if you have cat allergy concerns we recommend our other private bungalow Weekend Getaway One acre on the Bayou. The kitchen can be used to warm up food or make sandwiches or salad but we prefer guests not use it for cooking meals. We do have an outdoor kitchen and BBQ pit. We are vegetarians and we do not cook any meat in our kitchen. We ask that our guests clean up after themselves when using the kitchen. Our home is in a quiet residential area of a small town of 8,500 people. It is a pleasant walk to downtown to enjoy restaurants and music and dancing from Wednesdays through the weekend. There are several Gift shops, Flea Markets and a large Antique shop catering to weekend tourism. We are a 1/2 mile walk/drive to downtown Breaux Bridge and a 7 mile or 20 minute drive to Lafayette. We have two cats that keep to themselves a lot. They do not hang out in the Suite area of the house. Leo our male Maine Coon is our "guard cat" and spends most of his day chasing squirrels and lizards outside. Cali is our girl cat and she likes to spend most of her time sleeping on our bed and sometimes ventures outside on a pretty day. We have friends with allergies that are not affected when they visit. Possibly because our cats stay outside and to the bedroom area mostly and we vacuum regularly.
