WHEN YOU JUST WANT TO BE NEAR THE LAKE

We are right up the road from the beautiful Claytor Lake State Park. We offer a studio located at the back of our house with a private entrance and your own deck located on 2 acres. Your deck over looks a beautiful and peaceful setting with lots of song birds and butterflies for your relaxation after a day of travel or the lake. You have your own grill and camping stove to create your own camping atmosphere. You can enjoy playing yard games or just relax to unwind and finish up your day. Your room has a television. We supply a microwave and a refrigerator. I supply a continental breakfast for your first morning which includes options of gluten free if needed which I will ask you when you book for your preference. Homemade organic muffins, granola, local farm boiled eggs, yogurt,oatmeal, nutritional bars, almond milk or organic cows milk, orange juice to start your day and there’s always local coffee or tea. There is WiFi. We offer your own private bathroom. If you have a water craft of any kind there is always room for it here. Since there is no stove , you have an outdoor area on your deck that helps assist in cooking, which we call a camping theme.We have a barbecue grill, camping stove, We supply pots, pans, utensils, plates, ect., everything you need to cook a camping meal. Since the lake is right down the road, it is very accessible and our parking area has plenty of space, so if you are bringing a boat or pwc , there is plenty of room. We overlook the blue ridge mountains and our neighborhood is quite and safe. We enjoy meeting new people and getting to know our guests. Our goal is to make our guests as happy and relaxed as possible and to just enjoy the friendly atmosphere we provide. We enjoy interacting with our guest but respect their privacy. We live in a small and friendly neighborhood not far from a beautiful lake Claytor Lake State Park offers swimming, fishing, picnicking or just walking or bicycling. There is also boat and paddle board rentals. The New River Trail is only 15 minutes away for bicycling or walking the trail or spend the day in the quaint little town of Floyd, which is about 40 minutes , where you can enjoy the country store for dining and music then browse the local shops. There is always something to do nearby to enjoy your stay. We are just about a mile off of I 81 which makes it a great stop over to break up a long journey. We’re not far from the Blue Ridge Parkway. We are about 25 minutes from Virginia Tech and 15 minutes from Radford University for football season or graduations.
