This spectacular log home is located directly on the ocean, with a panoramic vista of the infamous Oak Island. You’ll love the open floor plan, luxurious kitchen with large dining area, wood stove, and vaulted ceilings. This home comfortably sleeps 9 in 3 bedrooms! The Space: From the moment you pull pull in past the gate, you will fall in love with this timber construction frame. The vivid colours of the wood and grand roof lines are sure to impress. Upon entering the front door, you enter an open concept main level. To the left is a kitchen, leading in to the dining area, then in to the living space with vaulted ceilings. In the living room there is seating for 6-7, a wood stove, and fabulous windows! There is a half bathroom on the main level. Also on the main level is the master bedroom, featuring a king bed open to the spa bathroom! Enjoy the spacious walk in shower and bidet. Upstairs, there are two bedrooms. On the left, the bedroom has two queen beds. On the right, the bedroom has one queen bed and one futon. There is a full bath and laundry room as well. Outdoors there is a spacious balcony with barbecue and lounge seating. There is also a large wharf overlooking Oak Island! Guests are provided 1 bale of wood per night (3-4 hours of burn time). Additional bales are available for $10, please let us know in advance if you would like more brought for your stay. Additionally, you may bring your own wood. Guest Access: Guests have private access to the entire home, grounds, and wharf. The Neighborhood: This home has a stunning view of the infamous Oak Island! With it being just across the water, within minutes you can be there, trying your hand at unearthing the 200-year-old treasure on Oak Island Within a 5 minute drive, guests can also find local markets and restaurants with that unique small-town flare! Getting Around: We recommend that guests have a vehicle during their stay. Other Things to Note: The home is rural and located at the end of a very long, windy, one lane, gravel road. The road can be a bit treacherous in winter weather conditions. While we do have snow removal in place, please note that they only come once at the end of a storm. It is recommend that you have four wheel drive in the winter! Cancellation: Full refund for cancellations made within 48 hours of booking, if the check-in date is at least 14 days away. Aside from the 48 hour window, there's a 50% refund for cancellations made at least 7 days before check-in. No refunds for cancellations made within 7 days of check-in.
