Pomme Rose Apartment
Unique, secluded, with breezy views of Caribbean Sea on large estate , ¼ mile off main road, quiet and secure. Wireless internet included. 5 minute walk to grocery store. (Ideal for 1 - 2 persons, one double bed.) Not suitable for children. A great open-concept apartment overlooking The Lagoon and St. George's, surrounded by fruit trees and open space. The apartment is bright and welcoming with a rustic style. Secluded home has a beautiful front walkway through a large garden to the apartment with a private entrance. Home is a couple hundred yards off the main road, where there are local small buses to town and to the beach. Rental cars are available from local dealers. Family and other tenants live in this large hilltop home. We are available for questions and help, but respect your privacy. The home is in a quiet residential area called Springs which is 10 minutes from St. George’s, the capital, by bus or car. Grand Anse beach is about 15 minutes. Springs is located high on a ridge with a good breeze and views. There is a small grocery store at the end of the driveway. There are local busses that run frequently on all the main roads of Grenada, and are very inexpensive. Rental cars are available on line and we have someone we can recommend. For stays longer than one week bed sheets/towels are cleaned and replaced which is included your stay. If you require personal laundry to be done during your visit: We can accommodate that with a small fee of $10 US per load. Please no smoking on the premises. We provide a small cellphone for you with a local phone number for your convenience. You will need to visit the local grocery store located at the bottom of our drive to add minutes to the phone which is very affordable and easy. We do have a family dog named Ziggy. He will greet you when you arrive, although he has a mean bark, he means no harm. Slowly approach him with your hand out, give him a few moments to sniff you to make sure you're not a threat, and give him a pet. We try to tie him up for guests arrivals, but otherwise he has free reign of the property. Most homeowners in Grenada have dogs as a security measure, and although Ziggy is very much a part of the family, we try to only tie him up when absolutely necessary. He will most likely visit you at your front door, you have the option of closing your door completely or having it open in which case there is a small gate you can simply close, and still enjoy the beautiful breeze.
