The studio has access to pool, sauna, garden, BBQ, ping pong table, and roofed parking space. Five people comfortably fit in this studio. The studio includes a dining area, kitchenette, living room with Cable TV/WiFi, futon, king bed with a pull out bed from underneath, ensuite bathroom, and a closet. The kitchenette includes a mini refrigerator, stove top, microwave, sink, cooking utensils, coffee maker, toaster, blender, electric water kettle, coffee, tea, and some spices are included as well. The studio is located inside a recently remodeled house, which is divided into seven individual studios. All apartments are completely private and are also listed in Airbnb. The main entrance, garage, swimming pool, sauna, BBQ, ping pong table, lounge area, and laundry room are all shared. Co-host and I are reachable at any time of the day. Rohrmoser is a secure and pleasant neighborhood right in the heart of San Jose. You can walk to the supermarket, restaurants, banks, and shops. It is also a great place if you need to drive anywhere in the city. The area is a very quiet one, with lots of green. There are two parks near the apartment. The biggest park in San Jose, La Sabana, is about four blocks away. These are great for exercise or just walking around. The National Stadium is also four blocks away. UBER is the best way to travel around San Jose, but there are also many bus stops nearby. You can walk to many places such as supermarkets, restaurants, banks, and cafes. The house has a big backyard so you may find mosquitoes and ants that wander into the apartment. We try our best to eliminate them, but I can’t guarantee that the house is 100% bug free. Please remember that Costa Rica has a tropical weather and is a perfect environment for mosquitoes and ants. It is part of being in this country. If you find sugar ants, please don’t think the house is not clean, it’s just very hard to live in a bug free environment in a house with a garden. With just one crumb ants will appear. We will not give refunds because of presence of bugs. Since the house is shared with other apartments, please keep in mind that you will share the common areas. Also, although we have written in many places to please keep quiet, you may hear people talking. Please remember, people are usually on vacation when they rent the apartment. Sometimes, due to external issues that are out of our control, there may be a power cut or the internet/ cable TV can lose signal for a certain amount of time. It is not common, but it can happen. If this does happen during your stay we will not issue a refund. Addresses in Costa Rica are complicated. We will give you the name to type in Waze and Maps, which should let you arrive without a problem. It is very important that you read the check in instructions before your arrival. It is out of our control if the taxi driver does not want to use Waze or Maps.
