Casa De Sisyphus is an off the beaten path boutique hotel nestled away on a quiet, private street. Casa De Sisyphus has two main bungalows , Casa Grande and the Pool Bungalow. The bungalows are connected by a large outdoor palm thatched palapa. The palapa and bungalows are positioned around our freshwater pool, ideal for lounging in the Mexican sun or cooling off in the shade of our poolside cabana. Approx.200m from the beach. Price listed is for 6 adults. Please contact us for smaller groups. Casa De Sisyphus is a boutique hotel nestled away in a quiet and secluded neighborhood of the small community, Puerto Arista. Casa De Sisyphus offer our guests complete privacy from the outside world in this quiet village without the buzz of vehicles and huge tourist crowds. It’s an off the beaten path boutique hotel that offers two palm thatched bungalows furnished with local furniture, fabrics and international art to provide a comforting and unique experience. Casa Grande is approximately 1,200 square feet with a full kitchen, two full bathrooms, a living room, office space, piano and sun room, and dining space. The Pool Bungalow is approximately 400 square feet with a bathroom, work space, and sitting area. Casa Grande and the Pool Bungalow are detached from one another, though connected by a large outdoor palm thatched palapa. The palapa and bungalows are positioned around our beautiful, freshwater swimming pool. The pool space is ideal for lounging in the Mexican sun or cooling off in the shade of our poolside cabana and canopy. The property is enclosed providing the ultimate privacy and freedom for our guests. Meals can be provided at an additional rate. We can accommodate groups of 6 people Max. Please contact us for more information. Guests can book either the entire property, Casa Grande alone, or only the Pool Bungalow. Rates shown are for four people for the Pool Bungalow and Casa Grande. The Pool Bungalow can sleep 2 people comfortably. Casa de Sisyphus can sleep up to 6 people comfortably. Listed rate is for 6 adults. Price for less people is $50/adult. The neighborhood and village is very quiet and relaxing. There is little light pollution and one can see thousands of stars in the night sky. There are many resident birds on the property. Puerto Arista is easily accessible via public transportation. Casa de Sisyphus also offers transfers to the airport in Tuxtla Gutierrez at an additional cost.
