Illari is a Quechua word that means gold and it's the name of this room because of the sunlight that comes through the windows everyday. This room is spacious and has a double bed and a private bathroom +TV. We believe in comfort while traveling, so we try to make our beds as comfortable as possible. (Spring mattress + dawn blanket) Arequipa is part of the Atacama desert the driest nonpolar place in the world, yet we have a beautiful garden, perfect to enjoy the sun, read a book and set a fire in cold nights. The rooms are in the back of the house making a peacefully place even when we are located in a busy street. The garden and the patios are shared spaces with other guests. Ana Maria is always at the house to welcome the guests while Pia is available through the app and fluent in English and German. Arequipa's historical center is quite small and there is everything you could need. We are 6 min walk far from the traditional Market and 8 min walk from Plaza de Armas, in between there is lots of eateries, coffees, restaurants and convenience stores to grab breakfast, lunch or dinner.
