Clean, king bed, white sheets /linens, maid service, hot shower, purified water, wine, snack bowl, security service and a deck looking out at the Caribbean Sea waves breaking on the coral reef give a unique sense of serenity. A one minute to a top rated restaurant, 15 minute walk to the "action" of the village. Unbelievable and unforgettable. Set on quiet Cocal Beach, your private cabin offers all the comforts you would expect on a once in a lifetime remote tropical island holiday. Sea breeze and fans to keep you cool, beds with fresh sheets and linens that will make you sleep like a baby. Your charming Nica Chic cabin has all the comforts of home and is on the beach with a private deck viewing distant breaking waves on the coral reef. A King bed on the main floor and in a smaller sleeping style loft accessed by a navy style bamboo ladder a double bed. A small fridge to help keep your beverages cold (no kitchen facilities available to cabin guests), a sitting area with table to enjoy them and a hot shower to revive you for a fun night out on the "town". You'll come back from going out to take part in the "action" to a quiet, safe, serene beach cabin waiting just for you. Wifi access a must from your cabin and hammock? You got it! Like to be taken direct to your cabin from the dock and have help with your bags? Ask for our free dock pick up for scheduled commercial panga arrivals. Pack light? You have access to an inexpensive laundry service. Don't want to bring a beach towel? Use a complimentary one provided in your cabin. Spending lots of hammock time and exhausted your book supply, borrow one from our "library". Want a cold, refreshing drink on the beach? No problem, take advantage of available beach service. Need help organizing a snorkel trip? Ask a staff member who is dedicated to service. Hungry? Thirsty? The Turned Turtle Restaurant, one of Nicaragua's favorite eateries is 1 minute away. No problem, daily maid service comes with your cabin. Want to keep that six pack cold? Use the fridge included with your cabin (no kitchen facilities available to cabin guests). You chose the right place. Love sleeping to the sound of the ocean? You will love this. Want help when you need it? You got it! A team leader dedicated to guest service is available from 5:20am to past 9pm. Need late night help, check in with your on grounds security staff to get the assistance you need. Your cabin is on the quiet side of the island yet only 15 minutes from all the "action" of the village side. So, you get to choose. Quiet, leisurely day on the beach or party it up and come back to a safe, secure, comfortable, wonderful night sleep. There are no cars, motorcycles or golf carts on the island. The only way to get around is on your own two feet. Bring comfortable shoes to fully experience the REMOTE nature of your vacation paradise. Please keep in mind that Little Corn is a remote tropical island with limited natural resources. We will do our best to make your stay as comfortable as possible, but do remember where you are and that things may happen that are beyond your control. This may require you to be a little more laid back than usual...Island style. Island power is on from approximately 1pm-6am daily. The cabin is on a septic tank, so please...nothing in the toilet except human waste, paper included! Everything in the trash bin which is changed when needed as part of your daily maid service. Packing tips and some additional thoughts: 1. Headlamp or flashlight: The island can get very dark at night. 2. Coffee: A bottomless cup of coffee ($2.50) is available 6:45 to 10:am. 3. Sunscreen and bug spray: The bugs are usually kept at bay at your cabin because of the breeze, but other locations can be buggy at times so bring bug spray. Complimentary bug spray is provided as needed to Turned Turtle Restaurant patrons. Sunscreen is a must for those sunny days out and about. 4. US dollars are accepted on the island...if they are clean, unmarked, not torn, and readable. The few island locations that do accept credit cards do so with high fees (up to 10%, we charge 12%) to avoid those fees we recommend you bring cash for spending on the island. 5. Day pack or beach bag 6. Rain jacket or umbrella 7. Flip flops or other comfy shoes for walking to and from the village. 8. You will be provided with our "Bring/Action Guide" for a complete list of ideas to make your stay even more memorable.
