Bright and breezy beach cottage, 500 ft walk to a private beach on the scenic Long Island Sound! Newly renovated, 100 year old, cozy home in a friendly, quiet residential neighborhood. Relax on the deck, in the hammock or take a luxurious shower outside under the stars. A partially stocked brand new kitchen is at your disposal along with a washer dryer. There are 3 spacious bedrooms with new mattresses, allergy covers and crisp new linens. Can comfortably accommodate 6 or more people with 2 queen beds, 2 twin beds, a futon, and air mattresses if needed. Includes towels, extra blankets and pillows. Each room has its own thermostat for a brand new heating and air conditioning system. Enjoy the screened in porch which is stocked with beach towels, chairs and toys. There are bicycles available for those who like the exercise! The home is not owner occupied but I am available by phone anytime. There is a binder in the home with more information. Quiet and friendly neighborhood makes this a relaxing retreat with access to beautiful Silver Sands State Park and other beaches. The private beach is free and Gulf Beach has a parking fee....but worth the trip to Goodies for a burger, fish sandwich or to sample the 24 flavors of soft serve ice cream! Take a 5 Minute drive to downtown Milford to a variety of amazing restaurants and stores. Hop on a train to NYC every 30 minutes or take a 10 minute drive to Yale New Haven. The Boston Post road is nearby with a mall, movie theater and every store known to man if you are a shopper. Please no smoking. No pets unless approved by the owner with a. extra cleaning fee of $50 added. It's a rocky beach, typical of the New England area, so bring some beach shoes!
