Our 100% traditional, Costa Rican-owned guest house is located far from noisy streets and bars. It is clean, safe, fun, and close to several excellent bus lines and taxi service direct to the city center and other locations in Costa Rica. The price listed here ($20 per night) is for single occupancy in a medium-sized single room with shared bathroom. We offer a variety of other rooms with shared and private bathrooms of different sizes at different weekly and monthly specials – contact us for more information! All guests are welcome to enjoy ample common spaces, which include two large, full-service kitchens, two TV - living / dining rooms, and a lush interior courtyard with outdoor seating area. Breezy and full of light, this is the perfect place to settle for the short or long-term and serves as an ideal place from which to explore the whole country. In-house amenities include hot water, laundry, internet / wi-fi, and cable television. Our friendly staff can also help you with tours and sightseeing, language classes, medical and other services. We are located ten paces from a full-service grocery store and within walking distance to San Jose's three major universities, restaurants, night life and sports complex. We are always available to help you plan your trip, discover the city and try to find a solution if you have any doubt or questions!! We are more than happy to make your live the 'Pura Vida'. It is safe and there is a lot of restaurants and bars nearby. The university is also very close as well as supermarkets of all types. Bus stops are very close and you can go to the city center in a few minutes by bus. Essentially everything except food and personal effects are covered by the room price.
